Delta Electronics, Inc.—a Taiwanese multinational and global leader in power and thermal management—sought to strengthen the North American presence of Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (DIBT) portfolio. The goal: develop a distinct brand look and feel that would align with Delta’s established global identity while offering just enough flexibility to stand out in a competitive market.
Working within strict brand guidelines, the enhancements needed to be subtle yet effective. To achieve this, yellow and red were strategically introduced to the existing blue and green palette. This created a more dynamic, mostly primary color system—where yellow symbolizes energy, creativity, and prestige, and red conveys power and prosperity.
Supporting these color adjustments, texture elements were designed to reflect DIBT’s core value proposition: seamless, integrated building automation. Each visual cue—fluid, layered, and intentional—serves as a metaphor for the effortless communication between systems that defines the IBT experience. In a category driven by complexity, this refreshed visual language emphasizes cohesion, clarity, and forward-thinking design.
